Our deployment of Tableau's desktop and server are amazing new users everyday, driving demand for departmental services. As with any "start-up" we are forced to remain focused on our goal of converting data to knowledge and perpetually iterate and reinvent our solutions.
In 2015 we would like to improve in the following areas:
- User Interface/User Experience
- We would like to respond to feedback from our users about their experience on our tableau portal and enhance the ease of obtaining desired data.
- This may include a custom content management system, better organization of existing content, or just tuning the existing structure.
- Javascript would be a plus.

- As our users are converting from spreadsheets to data visualization they are thirsty for actionable intelligence that will help the organization continue to fulfill it mission in a highly competitive market. We believe that this may include enhancing the teams competency at competitive analytics, predictive analytics, and process monitoring.
- Experience in R, Git, and python would be a plus.

- Data Modeling
- GAMC BI has been heavily influenced by the writing of Ralph Kimball and believe strongly that well designed dimensional models are often the best structure for analytics. We would like to continue to refine our existing data structures as well as develop new ones based upon business and clinical needs.
